Lake County Fire Rescue has been approved to wear our specially made pink uniform shirts (pictured) for the month of October. We are providing 2 shirts to every Local 3990 member. Additional shirts are available for sale on our facebook page and from the local. All proceeds from the shirts will be going to support a local female cancer support charity in Lake County. By wearing the shirts, we also want to bring awareness to women that have experienced cancer. Some have beaten it and others have not. We want to bring awareness to supporting the survivors, families, helping find a cure, and remembering the victims.

 

The on duty approved guidelines on wearing the shirts, are crew  integrity. This means the crew for the day must wear the same shirt, so please discuss this ahead of time and bring your regular shirt as well. Chief Jollif has approved the shirts being worn on duty for the month of October.
